Also, in some sewing magazines, the patterns are printed over each other in different colours and on different sides of the paper, so if you cut out one pattern, you lose access to all the other patterns that might be there as well!

You are a gem. I’m starting sewing for the first time at age 42 and my mom bought me a cute little handheld sewing stitcher and in the first day I bled it and and clogged it into the teeth lol so far I’m doing well.

I have never been able to put in a zipper very well. Everything else turns out reasonably well. I've only made fairlly simple patterns. I made pajamas for my kids, stuff like that. Nobody sees it.

Okay so I tried this today and i just learnt sewing yesterday (we have the traditional sewing machine) and I swear to god it took me a whole day . I started this morning and finished by evening and it turned out so cute loved it . Thank you so fuckin much 😭❤️❤️
